Synopsis
Happy go lucky, with no careers, kids or wealth to worry about, Jack, Kit and E rent an old home in inner city Sydney. It's cheap and cosmopolitan. And polluted.
Jack: Chronic motorist. Working class parents. Kit's inhibited boyfriend. A failed short film maker. Soon to be unemployed again. Once played soccer. Crippled by past failures. Still dreams of being a hero. 29 years old.
Kit: Avid pedestrian. Parentless. Jack's intelligent girlfriend. An instinctive painter. Works part time in an Asian deli. Plays the piano accordian. Wondering about her future. Wishes art was a popular as sport. Aged 27.
E: Taxi addict. Rich dad, estranged. Kit's indulgent best friend. A budding pop musician. Casual university student. Lives day by day. Makes a 'zine illustrating what she does with her friends. 27 turning 28.
Care free? Maybe not. It's time Jack woke up, Kit moved on and E got real.
